Acceptance
By using Maomao's Cashier App (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What the app is
A self-hosted point-of-sale tool for recording sales, managing a catalogue of items and preparing payment codes. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.
- You may sign in with Google or with a username and password.
- You must be entitled to use the Google account you sign in with.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, to infringe anyone’s rights, to attempt to break its security, or to disrupt other users.
Your data
You own the catalogue, images and sales data you put into the app. You are responsible for having the right to store it, and for keeping your own backups.
Payment codes
The app prepares a PayNow QR code from the details you supply. It does not process the payment and cannot confirm that a payment was made. Reconciling payments against your bank account remains your responsibility.
Availability
The app is offered without any service-level commitment. It may be unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the app.
Termination
The operator may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, or where needed to protect the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page changes when they are.
